THE MARKET HALL
Close to the market square, it is part of the covered market that was mostly used for grain storage and trade. The large windows were actually locked with wood planks to protect the goods. Upstairs, the building hosted the city hall from the 18th century to 1902.
Other historical market places can be found in the town, the place du Marche au Bois or the place Mercadieu, while today’s market is held every Sunday morning on place Bouqueyre. A great opportunity to taste some local products…
