The Château Michel de Montaigne is delighted to welcome Marc Levy for a talk on his latest book, La Librairie des Livres Interdits, on Monday 7 April at 5pm.
This event will be an opportunity to delve into the heart of the best-selling author's new comedy, which combines levity and commitment around the themes of freedom, censorship and literature.
In this, his 25th novel, Marc Levy explores the love at first sight between a rebellious bookseller and a boss, in a story where romance meets social issues.
It is a work that raises the question of freedom of expression through the story of a budding romance and a rather unusual bookshop, where forbidden books come to life.
At this conference, Marc Levy will talk about his work behind the scenes, his literary career and the inspirations behind his latest novel.
It will also be a rare opportunity to put questions to the author and discover the world of the writer, a man who, with each new book, reinvents his own style while remaining faithful to what has made him one of the most widely read and appreciated writers in contemporary literature.
