Not far from Montagne, come and discover the beautiful heritage of Parsac on this short walk. The village boasts a beautiful 11th-century Romanesque church.
The stages
Opposite the cemetery gate, take the sloping dirt track to the right of the wall until you reach the tarmac road. Continue straight ahead, then turn left at the junction. After passing the old town hall, take the ‘route du puy’, the first road on the left at the bottom of the hill. Continue on this road for about 1km until you reach the D130.
Turn left at the stop sign. Drive down the main road for 500m until you reach the pond. At the crossroads, take the road that branches off to the right (route de Langlade). At the next crossroads, go straight across. Go around the cross to take the path between the vines.
Continue until you reach the tarmac road below. Turn right, then follow the road as it forks to the left (you will pass the Clos de la Barbanne). At the end of the winding road, you will come to a stop sign. Turn right and cross the bridge.
Take the first turning on the left, towards Clos des Moines. Continue along this path alongside the Barbanne to the next fork in the road, at a waterhole. At the fork, turn left (route de Farguet), cross the small bridge and follow the road towards Parsac church. At the stop sign, take the steep dirt track past the war memorial back to the starting point in front of the cemetery entrance.
