The Château de Clotte was built during the Age of Enlightenment. It was in 1782 that the famous Bordeaux family of magistrates Roy de Clotte built the castle and gave it its name. From the XVIII to the XIX century, the Roy de Clotte family revealed the full potential of the château but especially of the vineyard
