The Keys of Troplong Mondot is a very special place to stay in, offering the most beautiful view of Saint-Emilion from the hillside. Here, guests discover the cosiest of refuges, within the vineyard of a First Classified Growth.
The lounge and three of the Keys are located in the main stone building, while a small house nestles in the heart of the vineyard.
On the ground floor, extended by a small terrace planted with trees, the vast Edouard room is a nod to the spirit of the 19th century - when its owner, Edouard Troplong, decided to add his own name to that of the property.
Upstairs, The Art Studio comprises two bedrooms and a small lounge opening onto the park and château. Designed in a more bohemian spirit, it is inspired by the painting studio of one of the former owners, Madame Valette, who helped give the estate its letters of nobility.
Finally, the other wing of the building reveals the Bell Tower bedroom offering one of the most spectacular views of the village of Saint-Emilion on the horizon.
Two lounges provide a communal space for lazing around, reading and chatting. With its large fireplace and library, everything here exudes the charm of an ideal family home where all generations can mingle.
In the middle of the vines, the Vineyard House is a delightful retreat that you reach by walking down a driveway lined with hydrangeas. You then discover a delightful terrace that opens onto two charming bedrooms, on either side of a large lounge with fireplace and deep sofas.
To complete the experience, we suggest you book a table at our Michelin-starred restaurant Les Belles Perdrix, and take a private tour of the vineyards.
