A full program which can be done all year round during weekdays and weekends

 

DAY 1

 

You are welcomed by your guide at the Tourist Office of Saint-Émilion.

 

10:30 am – The vineyards of Saint-Émilion, a World Heritage Site

During a one-hour tour of the vineyards, your guide will show you the landscapes listed as World Heritage by the UNESCO, as well as the châteaux and remarkable sites in the region.

 

12:00 am – Visit and lunch with the winemaker in a wine estate

Departure for an authentic family estate in Saint-Émilion. The winemaker will welcome you and show you around his estate: vines, cellar and vat room.
Then you will join him for lunch, featuring local products, and discover 3 of the estate's wines.
We offer several lunch options to suit your tastes: a picnic, a winegrower's snack, a local lunch or an entrecôte party.

 

3:00 pm - Saint-Émilion city tour 
Follow your guide on a 1 hour and 30 minutes tour of the history of the town of Saint-Emilion. Discover the key stages in its development, from its origins to the present day, and visit underground monuments such as the hermitage, the Trinity Chapel, the catacombs and the monolithic church.

 

4:30 pm End of the guided program for day one and free time in the city

 

Option - Hotel  (located 10 kms from Saint-Émilion)
Accommodation based on double occupancy. Single room available. Please contact us for single extra-charge.
Dinner at hotel based on: starter, main course, dessert, coffee and wine.

 

DAY 2

 

Meeting point with your guide to be defined : Saint-Emilion or Bordeaux.

 

9:30 am – Departure from Saint-Émilion to Bordeaux
Departure to Bordeaux, around 40 kilometres away. On the way, the guide will present Bordeaux, and its inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its urban architecture.

Once arrived : Bordeaux city tour 

In the heart of old Bordeaux, discover the city’s built heritage. Presentation of the historical building fronts (including the Grand Theatre, the "place de la Comédie", "place de la Bourse", "place du Palais", "place du Parlement"…). You may even get the chance to enter and discover the buildings interior…
This tour lasts 2 hours (partly by coach, partly on foot).

 

12:30 pm – Cruise and lunch on the Garonne River
According to the tide, you will sail on a guided tour for two hours upstream or downstream Bordeaux city. You will discover "Le Port de la Lune" along the historical building facades listed by UNESCO. 

 

Optional: visit to the Cité du Vin or the Bassins des Lumières

 

3:00 pm - End of our program

 

- Please note that your coach is used in Saint-Émilion and Bordeaux (distance covered: about 100 km).

General terms and conditions:

Booking must be made in advance, the tours are available all year long, from tuesday to sunday (except from December 24th to January 3rd).

The schedule can change on request.

Minimum capacity: 20 people.

Maximum capacity: 50 people, beyond 50 contact us.

One free driver

This program can only be made with a guide of the Tourist Office.

The fee per person (without guide) includes : the visit, admission fees to the monuments, tasting fees, lunches (incluing wine and coffee). Contact us for the menu options.

The fee does not include: transportation (on request) and personal expenses.

The guide fees are per guide and for one group of a maximum 50 people. These include the guide service for the whole program as mentioned.

If you want a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé wine estate, please note an aditional cost (the exact cost will be confirmed in the booking form).
