Driven by the desire to own their own land and produce quality wines, the forefathers of Christine, who now runs the estate with her husband Philippe, planted their first vines on this promising land in the immediate vicinity of the Saint -Emilion hill.

From the first harvests to the present day, 5 generations have succeeded one another at the head of the estate. Over time, winemaking methods have been refined to reveal all the flavors of this magnificent terroir.

True guardians of tradition, the estate's operators make it a point of honor to perpetuate Château Juguet's know-how. The handover from parents to children takes place over a number of years, to ensure that the production methods used continue over the long term. Maurice and Gisèle, Christine's parents, are still present on the estate and participate in the production of each vintage, particularly during harvesting and vinification.

The name Château Juguet is also synonymous with hospitality. Warmly welcoming visitors to the estate is an integral part of the owners' philosophy. A must on the Saint Emilion wine trail.
