Opposite the church in Petit-Palais, go around it to the left, taking the road downhill. Continue straight ahead on the D121, then at the crossroads take the D119 opposite. Cross the small bridge over the ‘Le Palais’ stream, then leave the road.

The stages

Step 1

Enter the small copse via the first dirt track on your left. Continue along this path, which veers off to the right. Further on, the main path veers off to the right again: continue straight ahead on the second path. This will take you through all the woodland in front of you, and you will then continue between plots of vines, on a grassy path.

Step 3

At the crossroads of the grassy and dirt track, at the entrance to a field on the right, continue straight ahead on the dirt track (yellow markers). Continue along this track. At the end, you will come to the Route des Huguets, which you should take up to the right to join the main road.

Step 4

Turn left at the stop sign. Take the first track on the right (yellow marker) and continue straight ahead. Go past a wooden shelter and continue straight ahead along the path through the woods. Pass between two rocks and go down the path until you reach a small wooden bridge.

Step 5

Cross the bridge, turn left and then, at the first crossroads, turn right (yellow signpost). The path leads past a colourful stable. At the end of the path, after the gate, turn left. The dirt track becomes a tarmac road leading to a hamlet. At the crossroads, take the road that veers off to the right, route de Mougnac (yellow signpost).

Step 6

On the Mougnac road, continue straight ahead. Go past the Ch. Vieux Mougnac and continue straight on, onto the ‘route de la Petite Lande’. At the crossroads, go straight ahead. At the end of the road, turn left (yellow signpost) to return to the church.
