This bike ride is for cyclists who would like to meet passionate winemakers. From the limestone plateau to the Barbanne valley, take narrow roads and cycle in the middle of the vineyards, away from all traffic.
The stages
Pass infront of the Maison du Vin and the church and then turn right. Carry straight on until you arrive at the roundabout.
At the roundabout, turn left towards Montagne and leave the village.
Pass infront of Ch. Cadet-Pontet and then turn left towards Faurie.
Turn right, infront of the sign towards Faurie and the Ch. La Rose Côtes Rol.
Cross over the D122 road and cycle in front of Ch. Saint-Esprit.
At the crossroads, turn left towards Ch. Clos Trimoulet.
Carry straight on and cycle infront of the Clos Trimoulet (on your left) and carry straight ahead on this winding road. Cycle past Ch. Sarenceau (on your left) and the Ch. La Fleur (on your right). Carry on cycling until you reach the next junction.
At the junction infront of a house, turn left to carry on the circuit or turn right to visit Ch. Champion.
Turn right, near the pumping station.
Cycle infront of Ch. Laplagnotte-Bellevue and Ch. Moulin de Lagnet, turn left towards Ch. Larguet.
Carry straight on and go through the woods after the 50 km/h sign.
After the woodland, immediately turn right and cycle up the road towards Ch.Lavallade.
Turn left, after the Ch. Lavallade,
At the stop sign, turn right towards the Saint-Christophe bell tower and cycle in front of Ch. Toinet Fombrauge.
Once you have arrived in Saint Christophe, turn right towards Saint- Emilion.
Pass in front of Ch. St. Christophe and at the roundabout turn left towards the “Mairie”.
At Laroque-Lapelletrie, turn right towards Ch; Barde Haut and pass in front of Ch. Lapelletrie.
Pass near the Ch. Tour St-Christophe and Ch. Barde-Haut and keep going straight on.
At the main junction, leave the water tower to your left and continue straight on towards Saint-Emilion.
Turn left on the one-way road towards “Saint-Emilion Sud“ and cycle in front of Ch. Le Prieuré.
On the slope, turn right towards Saint-Emilion.
Pass the Brunet gate to go back to the Tourist Office.
