This 11.5-kilometre loop is accessible to all, and is particularly suited to walkers who want to meet passionate winegrowers. From the limestone plateau to the Barbanne valley, you'll follow byroads through the vineyards, sheltered from road traffic.
The stages
After passing the Maison du Vin and the church gate, turn right at the roundabout.
At the roundabout, turn left towards Montagne and leave the village.
At Cadet, pass Cadet-Pontet and take the road on the left towards Faurie.
At the junction, opposite the Faurie sector sign and Château La Rose Côte Rol, turn right.
If you cross a busy road, be careful and turn off towards Clos Trimoulet.
At the crossroads, turn left towards Clos Trimoulet.
The road leaves the green markings. The road turns right towards Sarrensot.
At the crossroads opposite the house, turn left.
At the crossroads near the pumping station, take the road on the right, limited to 30 km/h, towards Champion.
At the junction after the Moulin de Lagnet, turn left towards Château Larguet.
Go through the undergrowth after the 50 km/h limit sign.
After the undergrowth, turn right up the road towards Château Lavallade.
After Château Lavallade, take the road on the left.
At the stop sign, join the D130 and turn right towards St-Christophe, passing Toinet Fombrauge.
When you reach St-Christophe, turn right towards St-Emilion.
At the St-Christophe roundabout, turn left towards the town hall and the Laroque-Lapelletrie sector
At the Laroque-Lapelletrie sector, turn right towards Château Barde-Haut.
Walk past the contemporary wine storehouse at Barde-Haut. You can see the water tower behind it. Continue straight ahead.
At the crossroads, leave the water tower on your left and continue straight on towards St-Emilion.
At the crow's feet, turn left onto the one-way road towards St-Emilion sud.
On the descent, leave ‘St-Emilion sud’ and turn right towards the centre of St-Emilion
Go straight on under the Porte Brunet to reach the Tourist Office. You've arrived.
