The ideal way to discover two prestigious Bordeaux vineyards.

10:30 am - Visit to a family wine estate in the Sauternes region, with the ‘Vignobles et Découvertes’ label

The Sauternais vineyards lie around 50 kilometres south of Bordeaux. The area is home to the Barsac protected designation of origine (PDO or AOC in French) and the Sauternes AOC.

The special feature of the Sauternes terroir is that it benefits from a microclimate that is ideal for ripening vines and making sweet white wines.

Share the passion of a family respectful of tradition and discover wines of the highest quality during the tasting.

12:30 pm – Lunch at a restaurant in the Sauternes region, with the ‘vignobles et découvertes’ label

Traditional cuisine and local wine for a convivial lunch.

2:00 pm - Departure for Saint Emilion. Crossing the Entre-deux-mers vineyards to discover charming, picturesque villages with astonishingly well-preserved heritage.

3:30 pm – The underground monuments tour . The vastest monolithic church of Europe with a guide from the tourist office.

This tour is a must, offering an immersion of about 45 minutes in the heart of the limestone for an exclusive discovery of the underground heritage of Saint-Émilion!
From the history of the founding monk of the village, to the digging of the surprising monolithic church, the visit will enable you to discover 4 monuments : the hermitage of Émilion, the Trinity Chapel and its medieval paintings, the catacombs as well as the underground church.

5:00 pm - Visit a Saint Emilionnais wine estate.

The diversity of Saint Emilion's terroirs makes it possible to produce red wines with a wide range of characters, from the freshest and fruitiest to the densest and most complex. Saint Emilion wines are characterised in particular by their tannic, robust structure and their great ageing potential. Younger wines have a certain finesse and suppleness that can be enjoyed over time.

Meet a winemaker for a friendly and rewarding experience. Followed by a tasting session.
