Situated in Saint-Émilion, Château Champion is a family wine estate belonging to the Bourrigaud family who have been perpetuating their know-how since the 18th century.
Pascal, representing the 8th generation, and Véronique welcome you in a warm family atmosphere in this authentic place in the Bordeaux vineyards.
Come and share their passion and discover the world of wine all year round by appointment, by visiting the wine-making and maturing cellars before enjoying a good tasting.
A wide range of visits is available to provide you with a unique experience at Château Champion: visits and tastings, nature and wine walks, sensory workshops, lunch at the estate for groups, etc...
The property also offers a camper van service.
Tourism and Handicap label (motor, auditory, mental, visual).
The Château Champion has been awarded the Tourism and Handicap label for the four families of disabilities:
- Auditory disabilities: these concern people who are deaf or hard of hearing, which implies an impossibility or difficulty in perceiving, deciphering or locating a sound message.
- Visual impairments: this concerns people who are blind, but also visually impaired: blurred vision, reduced visual field, influence of light or darkness. These people need contrasting visual cues that involve other senses.
- Mental disabilities: These are very varied and can involve difficulties in communication, understanding, decision-making and situating oneself in space and time. Like some older people, children, foreigners or illiterate people, they need to receive simplified information, whether visual or audio.
- Motor disabilities: also varied, they involve difficulties in moving around, whether in a wheelchair (electric or manual), a walker, crutches or on foot.
