Six generations of winegrowers have succeeded one another since 1850 to shape this 17-hectare vineyard in the heart of Saint-Émilion, uniting to the west the gravelly hilltops bordering Pomerol with the clay and limestone plateau of the "Menuts" to the east of the medieval town, listed as a World Heritage Site.
Certified ISO 14001 (Bordeaux Wine SME Association) and High Environmental Value Level 3, different agronomic techniques are implemented to promote biodiversity in our vineyard and life in our soils in order to develop a better resistance of our vines (70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon) and thus limit our impact on the environment. Thanks to this approach, our grape varieties also respect our mosaic of terroir.
These grapes are picked and sorted by hand by our pickers before the magic of the winemaking process where tradition and evolution are combined takes place. Maturing in French oak barrels, selected for the greatest respect for the fruit, will be our final touch before bottling the entire harvest at the château.
One of the members of the Audier family welcomes you all year round on his estate to share a convivial moment during a personalised visit and let you taste the different vintages of his production in Saint-Émilion Grand Cru.
Each year, a unique vintage, reflecting his observations, reflections, sometimes doubts, but always a testimony of his passion.
